Mike Gustin

Mike earned his Real Estate Brokers license in 1995 alongside his mother Patsy Gustin. At the time he was working for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish and retired in 2015. In 2016 he joined United Country Farm and Home Realty in Moriarty NM. Mike deals in all types of Real Estate including Ranch Properties, Recreational Properties, Residential and Country Homes, Commercial and Vacant Land. He also has experience in construction, ranching, and business. Both his mother and father have owned and operated several successful businesses.
Mike grew up in the small town of Mountainair, NM. After graduating high school, he attended Western New Mexico University and then New Mexico State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management and a minor in Range Management. He was fortunate to be employed by the Department of Game and Fish where he served for 25 years in several job capacities primarily in land and habitat management.
In 1991 he married his spouse Lisa. They had two children, Caleb and Jessica. Caleb is currently finishing his degree at NMSU and Jessica is teaching our next generation of agriculturists. In his spare time Mike likes to hunt and fish when he can, taxidermy, and helps out with the local Soil and Water Conservation District and county fairs. While raising their kids they were active in FFA and 4-H, and raising and showing pigs and lambs at the local county and state fairs.
United Country seemed like a good fit for his background in land management and his love of the outdoors. Mike believes his knowledge and experiences is an asset in helping people achieve their real estate dreams.
